Terms and conditions

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These terms apply when you use bowlpos.com, request a demo, or use the BowlPOS point of sale. If you use BowlPOS for a restaurant, you agree to these terms for that business.

1. Acceptance

By using the website, sending a demo request, or signing in to the point of sale, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. The service

BowlPOS is point-of-sale and service software for restaurants, including orders, tables, checkout, and related tools. Some features need an internet connection and a compatible device. We may change, add, or remove features as the product evolves.

3. Plans and payment

Prices, included features, and payment terms are the ones published on the Plans page or stated in the quote or agreement we send you. Taxes may apply. A plan stays in effect for the period you purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the restaurant information you give us, for who you allow onto the account, and for activity under your staff sign-ins. Tell us if you believe an account has been used without permission.

5. Your restaurant’s information

You keep ownership of your menus, orders, and guest details. You are responsible for having a valid reason to store guest information and for telling guests how the restaurant uses it. Our privacy notice explains how BowlPOS handles personal information.

6. Support and availability

We provide support through the channels we agree with you. We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or because of internet, power, hardware, or other causes outside our control.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the website or the service for anything illegal, to break or probe its security, to access an account without permission, or to interfere with how it runs for other restaurants.

8. Intellectual property

BowlPOS, its name, the software, and the content of this website belong to BowlPOS or its licensors. Your plan gives you a right to use the service while it is active. It does not transfer ownership of the software.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, BowlPOS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the service or from an interruption, including losses caused by internet, power, or hardware failures. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this website is the current one. If you keep using BowlPOS after we publish a change, you accept the updated terms.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Disputes related to them will be heard by the courts of San José.
